WHEREAS Global warming is destroying the planet through changing weather patterns; the water level is rising; the earth’s overall temperature is rising as well and,
WHEREAS the earth’s higher temperature is leading to flooding, thereby washing away salmon eggs and,
WHEREAS pollution is causing global warming, and is also causing health problems; more people are suffering from asthma and other lung-related problems and,
WHEREAS 8 of the hottest years ever recorded have occurred since 1998; global warming has had an obvious effect and,
WHEREAS the best opportunity for slowing global warming is by eliminating the need for polluting fuels
and, THEREFORE be it resolved that factories and automobile companies’ eliminate air pollution by 2012 or else face being shut down until the requirements are met.Those who work from home or use modes of transportation other than a personal car shall receive a tax incentive.

Take the opportunity to read information on the opposing side of this issue. Balance is important. Next, compare other country's pollution output so that clean air is not forced to become cleaner while dirty countries continue to pollute.
