WHEREAS, the gas prices alter the lifestyles of many Washingtonians.

WHEREAS, hybrid sales are less than 1% of vehicles sold.

WHEREAS, the increased demand and limited production capacity leave no room for error or disruption in the supply system.

WHEREAS, the gas prices of Washington State have reached record highs.

WHEREAS, the demand for gasoline is also at a record high.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, Washington State should reduce the taxes charged which drop the gas prices.
