My name is Julia Riel and this is my letter of intent letting you know that I would like to run for the 4-H KYG party nomination for the 2008 election. I am 16 years old, and a sophomore at La Salle High School in Yakima County. After graduating in 2010, I plan on attending college and pursuing a career in the medical field.I wish to seek this position representing the 4-H KYG party because I have a strong belief that through this program, 4-H is producing potential government leaders for our generation by helping its members gain the interest, leadership skills, and a taste of the information they need to pursue such a position. The issues most important to me include: better education, environment, energy, immigration, and agriculture.
