Health Care Resolution

Yakima County

WHEREAS, Good public health is a concern and an important service of Government in the state of Washington;
andWHEREAS, The citizens of the state of Washington depend on their Government entities to foster a healthy society;
andWHEREAS, The 35 health districts in the state of Washington depend upon state funding to perform the necessary tasks to assure citizens good public health;
andWHEREAS, The funding for health district is allocated in each biennial budget;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, The Washington State Legislative designate a permanent source of funding for health districts in Washington State.
