Election Reform Resolution

Lincoln County

WHEREAS in the Washington State primary, voters must declare party affiliation for partisan races and then only cast ballot for declared party’s candidates;
WHEREAS when no partisan races are present in voter’s precinct, voter is not required to declare party affiliation;
WHEREAS voters in Washington State can cast votes for candidates of either party in the general election;
WHEREAS party affiliation is not required for the receiving of a ballot;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Lincoln County KYG Party of Washington agrees with the current system of party affiliation in primary and general elections.
