WHEREAS, The cost of oil has tripled over the last four years; and
WHEREAS, The price of gasoline has become a great burden on the middle class; and WHEREAS, If we open up the capped oil wells, we would not be so dependent on foreign countries; and
WHEREAS, Opening our own oil wells back up, more jobs will become available;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, Open our own oil wells back up, so we don’t depend so much on imported oil.
