Walla Walla County delegates participated in the Whitman College MLK Day of Service. Whitman College had 82 volunteers who provided 164 hours of service in a single day. Whitman College had arranged for 6 different projects around the community to choose from. The Walla Walla group, Cristina, Chris and Brenda worked with Valley Residential Services, cleaning rooms for developmentally disabled clients. We were all impressed with the work and will be helping with this event again next year.
