Election Reform Resolution

Okanogan County

WHEREAS, votes are only recounted when the results and close; and
WHEREAS, homeless people are not able to vote; and
WHEREAS, the instructions on ballots may be confusing to the uneducated, or non-English speaking people; and
WHEREAS, there is not a window for absentee ballots to arrive in time to be counted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that votes should always be recounted; and that homeless people should be able to vote; and there should be a tool free phone number for anyone to call for instruction information on the voting ballots in Spanish, English, and French; and there should be a longer window for absentee ballots to arrive and be counted.
