WHEREAS, Washington State unemployment rates are approximately
31st in the nation, many steps need to be taken to
increase employment and rectify current economic
downfalls; and

WHEREAS, Congress is continually changing tax codes, it is vital to
Provide tax payers with consistent criteria and guidelines
for taxes, which will in turn reduce the number of federal
audits of both personal and business institutions; and

WHEREAS, WA state tax rates, sales, income, property etc. are at
present being utilized for means beyond those truly
necessary, a revision of WA state spending is in order, and will be necessary for a healthy economy; and

WHEREAS, The minimum wage, as it is highest in the nation, needs
to be revised in an effort to assure that our employment
rates are as efficient as can be under current economic conditions; and

WHEREAS, Housing and the real estate empire are currently in a
recession, everything possible must be done to rectify
this situation, including government housing subsidies for a wider range of incomes, to re-instate a previously flourishing housing market; and

WHEREAS, Credit is continuing to grow, in modes from payday loans
to credit cards, stricter guidelines need to be put into
place to cap the debt that is currently rampaging the
private spending vector,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED,
That our economy is at present in need of serious reform, and steps toward consistent tax laws, a comprehensive review of Washington State spending and minimum wages, more government housing subsidies and subsidies for higher income families, and limitations on credit to decrease debt.
