Hello, my name is Riley Barnes, and I intend to seek the KYG party’s nomination for the 2008 election. I am 18 years old, and I have an Associate of Arts degree from Pierce College. I am currently a junior at Pacific Lutheran University, pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology with a concentration in Physical Therapy. I want to represent the KYG party in the upcoming election because I believe that the youth involved in 4-H and KYG are the future of our country, and I believe that my 12 years of 4-H experience and extensive leadership training has prepared me to be a representative and a leader for the 4-H youth, and in that, the future of our nation. The issues that I find most important are the current state of environmental change and global warming, the looming financial crisis in the United States, the state of the educational system in America, and poverty both in our nation and worldwide, and protecting the freedoms that are the foundation of our country and that we as a people fight for. I want to make our nation a safer place with a more stable economy, and I will fight for the rights of every American.
