This is a letter of intent to inform you that I have decided to seek the 4-H KYG party nomination for Washington State Governor for the 2008 election. My name is Kayla Riat. I live in Washougal and I am 17 years old.
I am currently a student at Washougal High School and plan to transfer to a four-year University to get a degree in Biology. From there I will continue into my graduate studies and pursue my career as a Surgeon.
I want to represent the 4-H KYG party because I believe that our party is the future of politics, and every member has the potential to do well in this community, this state, this country and even the world. I want to be a part of that. I also want to run for the experience and to know more about my country and how it runs.
Issues that are important to me include: higher education, health care, the environment, community involvement, family, and promoting the KYG platform.
