Whereas; In the year 2000 there were 7 million illegal immigrants living in the United States and is growing by a factor of ½ a million each year; and
Whereas; Illegal aliens are attracted to the United States by both job opportunities and family connections not offered by their home countries; and
Whereas; In 2007 there were over 3 million received applications of immigrants; and
Whereas; There are only three steps to become a United States citizen;
Now, Therefore, be it Resolved; That the 4-H Know Your Government party supports legal immigration by following the three-step process.
