Immigration Resolution

Lincoln County

WHEREAS approximately $1.5 billion is spent on bilingual education;
WHEREAS California and Arizona taxpayers voted to end bilingual classes;
WHEREAS placing formerly Spanish only students into English education classes has increased test scores
WHEREAS 90% of all sent electronic mail is in English,
WHEREAS Ukrainian government has placed an emphasis on schools to teach English, WHEREAS over 90% of all European Union non-English speaking countries have required English for graduation,
WHEREAS English is the only language used in international aviation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the Lincoln County KYG Party of Washington stands for the requirement that all immigrants have a communicable understanding of English.
