WHEREAS, Illegal immigration puts undue strain on our social systems, creates unfair employment situations for our own legal citizens, and trumps those immigrants pursuing a legal immigration process.
WHEREAS, American workers lose $133 billion in wages due to wage depression and displacement from jobs because of immigration, and, in one year illegal immigration cost our nation's taxpayers a net $41 billion.
WHEREAS, Countless illegal immigrants are crossing into our country via our unsecured borders.
WHEREAS, Providing amnesty for those illegal immigrants already in-country would only encourage further illegal immigration with the hopes of amnesty.
WHEREAS, We believe the interpretation of the 14th Amendment to the United States Constitution (1868) to grant citizenship to ALL personas born or naturalized in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That our borders should be secured, that we should not provide amnesty to illegal immigrants, and that all persons born on the soil of the United States of American should be considered a natural born citizen.
