Environment Resolution

WHEREAS, we have restrictions on environmental impact, the same regulations should be applicable to all lands whether they are native American or federal as well as any others.
WHEREAS, we recognize that the environment is a crucial part of our way of life, and we must take the proper steps to preserve it.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, Native American lands should be required to meet the same regulations as everyone else, including the US government. We need to increase education and public awareness of the importance of recycling and encourage the use of decomposable and renewable resources for grocery bags, diapers, and other disposable consumer goods. There should be regulations on the packaging of products to help decrease waste.
