Energy Resolution

Yakima County

WHEREAS, Yakima County and other central Washington areas have a known potential for geothermal resource;
andWHEREAS, Geothermal energy is a renewable energy source;
andWHEREAS, Geothermal is an environmentally safe source of energy,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, further research and development of geothermal energy should be implemented.
