ENERGY RESOLUTION

JEFFERSON COUNTY

WHEREAS, America is a country dependent on electrical energy for households and industry; and
WHEREAS, fossil fuel energy is being depleted at an alarming rate, and the cost of fuel is exorbitant; and
WHEREAS, Washington State has a rich resource in sea water;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, 1. Tidal power stations should be set up at coastal and Puget sound marine waters to help generate electricity. 2. Washington State should invest in alternative fuel sources such as hydrogen fuel or biodiesel.
