WHEREAS, The people of Washington do not fully understand what the ideas and positions of politicians running for office; and
WHEREAS, The people cannot vote according to their values and ideas because those who are being voted for or against have not defined there position on every idea; and
WHEREAS, Those who have been elected before for certain reasons that they were thought to value did not follow those supposed ideas; and
WHEREAS, The candidates for office don’t fully present their ideas and values to the people when they are addressing the voters; and
WHEREAS, What the candidates do present they don’t fully explain and then the people assume the ideas differently then they really are; and
WHEREAS, The voters reason for choosing the candidate is based off of assumed ideas and values and not off of fully explained ideas; and
WHEREAS, The people should have a easy, and efficient way to compare and contrast the choices of candidates;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the voter pamphlet should include a detailed description of the ideas, positions, and values of the candidates running for office.
