WHEREAS, when cities, counties or states and nations elect new officers based on popular votes, voters cast a ballot, and
WHEREAS, when polls are carried, mistakes are often found on the voters behalf or those who count ballots, and
WHEREAS, these mistakes affect end results of elections, and
WHEREAS, there are many ways of voting such as lever machines, optical scanners and electronic voting machines that can misinterpret votes,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, to insure the accuracy of citizens’ votes, the polling places use better ways to count votes.
