Security and Safety Resolution

Lincoln County

WHEREAS there are established military and military subsidies in the State of Washington;
WHEREAS these military establishments are, including but limited to, the United States Army, United States Navy, United States Air Force, Washington State Air National Guard, Washington State Army National Guard, as well as subprogram of these,
WHEREAS said military provides 187,900 employment opportunities in Washington State;
WHEREAS 83,344 of said employment opportunities in Washington State are on military bases;
WHEREAS 2.57% of 175,977 recruits in 2004 and 2.23% of 149,462 recruits in 2005 to said military establishments were from the State of Washington;
WHEREAS said military establishments input an approximate $491.7 million into the economy of the Washington State annually;WHEREAS said military establishments help local, county and state emergency groups in times of crisis;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Lincoln County KYG Party of Washington supports the said military establishments and subsidies.
