Health Care Resolution

WHEREAS many people in need of healthcare cannot afford it
and,WHEREAS most people are dependent on healthcare from their job
and,WHEREAS healthcare is a necessity
and,WHEREAS a lack of healthcare can lead to the aggravation of illness and injury
and,WHEREAS not having access to proper treatment in a timely manner could lead to the unnecessary death of individuals without insurance
and,WHEREAS healthcare for all would contribute to a feeling of security and belonging within Washington State,
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Know Your Government Party that healthcare shall be provided by the government for those citizens who do not already have it. Healthcare shall also be provided to those who suddenly find themselves without coverage, for example, if they lost their job. Healthcare provided by the government shall include dental, visual, mental and physical care. Those who do not provide healthcare to their employee’s shall pay into a state fund pro-rate for health insurance.
