Environment Resolution

WHEREAS recycling saves natural resources. The energy that it takes to dispose of the waste will not be used, if recycling techniques are used.
WHEREAS recycling saves energy. For example, it takes five pounds of coal to make one soda can, so by recycling, the coal can be used for other necessities, such as heat.
WHEREAS biodegradable items save natural resources.
WHEREAS our party supports active participation in the promotion and preservation of natural resources.
WHEREAS as we believe in the promotion of renewable resources such as wind power, nuclear energy, water power, solar power, this will allow us to stop depending on foreign products and deplete resources that cannot be renewed or reused.
WHEREAS we believe in the reduction of pollution. For example pollution from the six major pollutants have decreased substantially over the past 30 years, even as our population has grown. We wish to continue that trend.
BE IT RESOLVED, that we support the protection of our planet Earth’s environment and it’s natural resources.
