Education Resolution

Yakima County

WHEREAS, Polices need to be implemented to increase the quality of public education in Washington State;
andWHEREAS, Children look up to parents as role models so every parent should have an important roll in education
and;WHEREAS, it has been proven that children excel when parents are more involved in their education,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, to create a curriculum that makes it necessary that children and parents work together on studies, and furthermore, each parent be required to spend one day per year participating in the classes in which his or her child is enrolled.
